Protect people before the fuel
Safety comes before refuelling.
Keep flames, cigarettes, sparks and other ignition sources away from fuel and the vehicle.
Do not stand in a live lane or attempt to move across traffic to meet the delivery.
If you suspect incorrect fuel, do not start the engine or continue driving; tell dispatch what was added if known.
If there is a fuel leak, smoke, fire, injury or immediate danger, move away if safe and contact emergency services first.
Once safely away from traffic, keep your phone available and avoid crossing lanes or waiting in the delivery path. Mention any gate, parking level, height limit or security restriction so access can be understood before assistance begins.
