Protect people before the vehicle
Safety comes before loading.
If anyone is injured, there is fire or the scene is dangerous, contact emergency services first and follow their instructions.
Move away from traffic only when safe. Use hazard lights when appropriate and avoid standing behind or beside vehicles in moving lanes.
Do not drive a vehicle with damaged steering, wheels, suspension, leaking fluids or other signs that it may be unsafe.
Do not push a damaged car across a road or inspect underneath it in an exposed position.
Once you are in a safe position, keep your phone available and do not stand in the loading path. Share the road direction, parking level, entrance or security detail if access is restricted.
